IOM Singapore

A Local Presence for Singapore Organisations and others in SE Asia

IOM Singapore was established in 2012 with support from the Singapore Economic Development Board with an aim to de-risk emerging technologies, including nanotechnology and to support the drive from the Ministry of Manpower and the Workplace Safety and Health Council to develop additional expertise in workplace health risk management in Singapore.

An Experienced Team

Our senior team collectively have more than 60 years of experience working in occupational health hygiene and safety internationally and in Singapore in a wide range of industries and settings.  Two members are acclaimed internationally for their pioneering work in nanotechnology risk management. IOM Singapore benefits from an exceptionally well qualified team with both international and Singaporean accreditations and certifications. Since our establishment in 2012 the team has expanded rapidly in now includes highly experience Singapore Workplace Safety, Fire Safety and Occupational Hygiene Officers and trainers.

The Singapore team is supported by our international consulting experts, including those based at IOM in the UK, who travel widely and by our network of associates and partner trainers. Our team is in the process of expanding and we are looking to recruit highly talented Occupational Hygienists and other professionals from within Singapore to be part of our growth and the support network for our clients.

The Future

The increasing focus on management of health risks by Ministry of Manpower and the Workplace Safety and Health Council through programmes such as Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) and Vision Zero aligns strongly with IOM core skills.  IOM Singapore has a strong and important role to play working with Government, International MNCs and local companies in the development of world class workplaces in Singapore and the wider region.
